Our staff have been busy preparing Sacred Heart School for the return of our children next week.

As we begin every academic year, we come together as a whole school community for a special Celebration of the Word, a chance to pause, pray, reflect and look ahead to the year to come.

There is something very special about a Catholic school. Rooted in faith, but welcoming of all, it is a community where we come together, where every person is valued and where we are reminded that we are loved, known and worthy of respect.

Our Catholic ethos shapes not only what we teach, but how we live and work together. We place great importance on respectful relationships, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and seeing the dignity and worth in every individual.

Our liturgy was a beautiful opportunity for staff to begin the new year together before continuing with our INSET programme, including our annual safeguarding training.

We are ready, we are excited, and most importantly, we are looking forward to welcoming our children back and beginning another year as one Sacred Heart School family. ❤️
