We are so proud of all the amazing children who took part in this year’s Wadhurst Remembrance Parade on Sunday — it was a truly heartwarming turnout.
From our youngest at Little Hearts Nursery to our confident Y6 pupils, everyone represented our school with pride, dignity, and exemplary behaviour. They carried our banner and laid our wreath with honour, reminding us all of the importance of remembrance and gratitude.
In the lead-up to the day, the children have been learning about the history and meaning of Remembrance Day and the symbolism of the poppy - our school is beautifully decorated with their stunning poppy artwork.
Today, the whole school came together to observe the two minutes’ silence at 11am, reflecting quietly and respectfully on the bravery and sacrifices of others.
