Children in Y4 took part in a fantastic workshop stepping back in time to Ancient Rome.
The children dressed up in wonderful Roman costumes and immersed themselves in learning all about Roman life. Throughout the day, they discovered how the Roman Empire spread, explored the invasion of Britain and learned about daily life as a Roman. They found out about the games Romans played, the letters they wrote, the roads they built and what it was like to be a Roman soldier.
The workshop ended with an exciting Romans versus Celts battle, bringing history to life in a fun and memorable way. It was a truly immersive day filled with curiosity, discovery and lots of learning!
